Blazer Jobs is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support a school district in the Fort Myers, FL area. This full-time role is ideal for both local candidates seeking a consistent school-year placement and travel clinicians looking for flexible, short-term contracts with competitive pay and perks.
Position Overview:
As part of a collaborative student services team, you’ll serve children from PreK through high school with diverse speech, language, and communication needs. You’ll contribute to evaluations, IEP development, therapy sessions, and progress monitoring while working closely with educators, families, and special education staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver speech-language therapy to K–12 students individually and in groups
-
Conduct evaluations, interpret data, and assist with eligibility determinations

Develop and maintain IEPs in line with Florida state and district guidelines
-
Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
-
Maintain accurate documentation of services and student progress
Requirements:
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
-
Active Florida SLP License (or eligibility)
-
ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; strong CFs welcome
-
Prior school-based experience highly valued
-
Must pass background & fingerprint clearance
