Position Overview

Location: Fort Myers, FL

Discipline: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or CF)

Start Date: August 11, 2025

End Date: June 1, 2026

Schedule: Full-Time, 37.5 hours/week

Assignment: Onsite only (no virtual, no hybrid, no SLPAs)

Number of Openings: 30

Campus Assignments: Multiple locations available across the district

Caseload: Varies by site; K–12
Responsibilities
-
Provide direct speech/language therapy services
-
Conduct evaluations and contribute to IEPs
-
Maintain compliant documentation and progress tracking
-
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
-
Participate in IEP meetings and multi-disciplinary support teams
Qualifications
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

Active Florida SLP License and/or valid FL DOE teaching certification
-
ASHA CCCs preferred; CFs welcome (supervision provided)

Prior school-based experience is a bonus—but not required
