Teletherapy SLP Colorado School-Based Autism Specialist
We are seeking a 1099 Remote SLP to work with students on the autism spectrum across school districts in Colorado. This position focuses on developing functional communication, social skills, and pragmatic language strategies in a virtual setting. As an independent contractor, you'll work within a multidisciplinary support team while maintaining control over your schedule and therapy methods. This opportunity is ideal for clinicians with experience in autism support, collaborative problem-solving, and virtual instruction.
Responsibilities:

Conduct virtual speech-language evaluations for students with ASD.

Develop pragmatic language and social communication goals.

Deliver engaging teletherapy sessions tailored for students with autism.

Collaborate with behavior specialists and special educators.

Support implementation of communication systems (e.g., PECS, visual supports).

Provide caregiver training for generalization of skills.

Attend virtual IEP and multidisciplinary meetings.
-
Monitor and document progress using behavior-informed data tracking.

Adjust therapy approaches based on student response and feedback.

Ensure compliance with IDEA and Colorado-specific regulations.

Use visuals and structured routines to support learning.

Support transition planning with a communication focus.

Adapt therapy materials for sensory and attention needs.

Facilitate virtual peer interaction groups for pragmatic skill building.

Maintain confidentiality and secure platform usage.

VOCOVISION Requirements
· Must have a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
· Contractors must provide your their own liability insurance
· Comfortable being an independent contractor (1099)
· Home computer with high internet speed
· Passed basic tech screening
Interview Process:
- 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
- 20-30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District
- Offer is typically within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview
