Speech Pathology - Fortson, GA
A full-time virtual Speech-Language Pathologist position is available to support a K-12 school district in Georgia, providing critical services remotely from Columbus, GA. This contract role extends through the current school year with an end date of May 21st, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and attend Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
- Prepare and manage required documentation including Review of Data Reports (RDRs), writing IEPs, and ensuring timely communication with students’ families, educators, and other stakeholders.
- Organize all testing documents and materials to ensure they are ready before meetings.
- Flexibly manage a 7.5-hour workday with tasks primarily related to documentation and compliance rather than direct therapy.
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license and Georgia Educator License.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology services.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Reliable and self-motivated with excellent time management abilities.
- Effective communicator, comfortable coordinating with diverse teams.
Location: Virtual work based in Columbus, GA. Assignment Duration: Contract through current school year, ending May 21, 2026. Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week with flexibility outside typical school hours.
