Oregon School Districts Hiring Speech-Language Pathologists for the 2025–2026 School Year – Partner with Blazer Jobs

Blazer Jobs is working closely with school districts across Oregon to hire certified and passionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the upcoming 2025–2026 academic year. Overview

SLPs in Oregon schools play a key role in helping students build the speech and language skills they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom. You’ll provide direct therapy services, contribute to special education evaluations, and collaborate with education teams to support each student’s learning goals through Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Current openings are available in Portland, Eugene, Salem, Beaverton, Medford, Bend, and neighboring communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments in compliance with Oregon Department of Education (ODE) standards

  • Deliver therapeutic interventions in individual and small-group settings based on IEP goals

  • Participate in IEP development and meetings as part of the school-based multidisciplinary team

  • Track student progress, maintain detailed documentation, and ensure adherence to state and federal regulations

  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other service providers to support student outcomes

  • May supervise SLPAs in accordance with Oregon Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology guidelines

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

  • Current or eligible Oregon SLP license

  • Understanding of IDEA, IEP development, and school-based service delivery

  • School or pediatric experience preferred

  • Must meet background check and fingerprinting requirements per district standards

Job Details

  • Full-time and part-time roles available

  • Contracts run August 2025 through June 2026

  • W-2 position through Blazer Jobs
