Hours: Full-time, 8 hours per day (start and end times may vary by location)

Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join Forest Grove School District for the 2025–2026 school year. This full-time position will primarily serve elementary students with language and articulation needs. The role requires flexibility to provide services across multiple school locations to maintain caseload balance and ensure comprehensive support throughout the district.
Caseload & Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of approximately 40 to 50 elementary-aged students, focusing on language and articulation therapy

Provide direct speech and language therapy services tailored to individual student goals

Conduct speech and language assessments and complete necessary evaluations for eligibility determination and progress monitoring

Collaborate regularly with classroom teachers, special education staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ communication development

Utilize Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) support where appropriate, especially if bilingual (Spanish/English) to maximize service delivery and efficiency

Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely documentation including IEP development, therapy session notes, progress reports, and compliance with district and state guidelines

Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student progress and therapy plans

Adapt therapy strategies to meet diverse student needs and cultural backgrounds, with a strong preference for bilingual candidates fluent in Spanish and English
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Active Oregon SLP license or eligibility to obtain license prior to start date

Bilingual Spanish/English proficiency strongly preferred

Experience working in school-based settings is preferred but not required

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Ability to manage a high caseload while maintaining quality services and compliance with regulations
