Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Minimum of one year of experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly within school settings
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school or healthcare environment
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and related paperwork
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- No Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) candidates or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) for this role
- Teletherapy/remote service provision is not available; on-site presence required
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students on an elementary caseload
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and document progress toward goals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student development
- Consult with families and educators regarding speech and language needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with all documentation requirements
- Create an engaging and positive learning atmosphere that promotes student growth
