School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Florence, Massachusetts
A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential support to elementary students in a school setting in Florence, MA. This contract position offers a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week during the current school year, serving a dedicated caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students’ communication skills.
- Track progress and maintain detailed documentation in accordance with school policies.
- Provide direct speech therapy services tailored to the unique needs of elementary-aged children.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a valid state license.
- Credentialed Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is preferred.
- Experience working in an elementary school environment.
- Open to Clinical Fellows (CFs) completing their supervised professional experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support students and collaborate with school staff.
