Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Fishers, Indiana
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide leave coverage in an elementary school setting in Fishers, IN. This contract position begins ASAP and continues through the end of the school year, offering a valuable opportunity to contribute to pediatric speech therapy services within an educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language services to preschool through 4th-grade students
- Collaborate with two SLPs and an SLP Assistant (SLPa) during the initial assignment (January–March) supporting approximately 90 students across K–4 grade levels
- Transition in March to cover a maternity leave at another K–4 school serving around 70 students, including a functional academics classroom
- Conduct evaluations, write IEPs, reports, and Medicaid billing documentation during designated scheduling times
- Participate in meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration as needed
- Deliver services onsite or virtually using teletherapy platforms
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Indiana Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings
- Ability to manage moderate caseloads and multitask with administrative duties
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with school teams and families
