Position Overview
As a remote Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide comprehensive speech and language services to students in virtual settings. This role offers flexibility and the chance to work with diverse student populations while maintaining the high standards of care our schools expect. You'll be part of a supportive team committed to helping students achieve their communication goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy through virtual platforms
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on performance data
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure consistent student care
- Maintain detailed documentation and records of student sessions and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for student support
- Create engaging lesson materials adapted for virtual instruction
- Communicate regularly with families about student progress and home practice strategies
Required Qualifications
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Florida state speech-language pathology licensure
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Minimum 2 years of school-based speech-language pathology experience
- Proficiency with virtual learning platforms and technology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
