This contract position is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supporting students in a school setting located in Federalsburg, MD. The role requires providing part-time direct speech therapy services to a caseload of 16 students over the course of the academic year from April 20, 2025, through June 17, 2026. The position offers the flexibility of primarily onsite work with the possibility of virtual consultation (VOCO) as needed.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Maryland SLP license with all state-required certifications
- Completion of CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working in school settings providing speech therapy services
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage caseload effectively
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, individualized speech and language therapy to approximately 16 students
- Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and district requirements
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing training as necessary
