Pediatric SLP in Federal Way, WA
This full-time, on-site role, located near Belfair, WA, offers a rewarding opportunity to work with young learners aged 3 to 5 years old across Early Learning and Elementary School settings. The position involves providing specialized speech-language pathology services including developmental preschool support, itinerant student assistance, and conducting child find evaluations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to 3-5-year-old students in Early Learning and Elementary School programs
- Conduct child find evaluations and provide itinerant services as needed
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in accordance with state and federal guidelines
Qualifications and Experience:
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) with eligibility for Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification in Washington State
- Experience working in school-based settings serving early childhood populations, including developmental preschool programs
- Competence in conducting child find evaluations and providing itinerant services
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with families and school teams
- Optional skills in teletherapy and pediatric healthcare settings are valued
