A K-12 Speech Language Pathologist position is available in Spring Lake, NC, offering an opportunity to work within a dynamic school environment serving elementary, middle, and high school students. This role is designed for professionals holding an active North Carolina license who are interested in contract positions for the current school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language services to students across pre-kindergarten through high school.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to enhance service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary efforts supporting student success.

Qualifications:

  • Valid and active North Carolina Speech Language Pathologist license.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) is preferred.
  • Experience working within school settings, including K-12 populations.
  • Ability to work onsite full-time or part-time with flexible scheduling as needed.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Previous experience supervising SLPAs is an advantage.

Position Details:

  • Full-time opportunity: Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week, from ASAP through May 29, 2026.
  • Part-time option: Two days per week with flexible hours, primarily serving pre-kindergarten and elementary students.
  • Onsite work required, with two positions available.
  • Caseload includes elementary, middle, and high school students.
