School Speech-Language Pathologist Needed Serve Fayette County Students
Fayette County Public Schools is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapy and support services to students with communication challenges. This position is a great fit for clinicians who value collaboration, individualized care, and making a lasting impact within school communities.
Role Overview:
As a school-based SLP, you’ll conduct evaluations, deliver targeted interventions, and work as part of an interdisciplinary team to support students’ academic and social success.
Responsibilities Include:

Administer and interpret speech and language assessments
-
Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEP goals
-
Provide therapy services in individual and group settings
-
Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
-
Attend IEP meetings and contribute to team planning
-
Maintain accurate records and ensure service compliance
Minimum Requirements:
-
Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Active Georgia SLP License
-
Valid PSC Certificate to serve in Georgia public schools
-
ASHA certification (CCC) preferred
-
Prior school experience is helpful but not required

Strong written and verbal communication skills
