Speech-Language Pathologist in Fairport, NY
A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a K-12 educational setting in Fairport, NY. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students presenting with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Provide targeted therapy sessions focused on speech and language improvement goals
- Monitor and document student progress with accuracy and attention to detail
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, counselors, and other multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care and support
- Engage families by educating and involving them in the therapy process to enhance outcomes
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in New York
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations strongly desired
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
This role requires active licensure approved by the state board and the completion or pursuit of a Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology. Comprehensive support, including access to an experienced local SLP advisory team, will be provided to aid your professional development.
