Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist | Alabaster, Alabama
A certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in pediatric and school settings is sought for a full-time contract position serving K-12 students in Alabaster, Alabama. This role offers the opportunity to provide direct speech therapy services both in-person and via teletherapy, supporting students aligned with the continuum of care from CFY through CCC credentialed professionals. The contract runs from ASAP through May 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Implement individualized treatment plans addressing speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the educational planning process.
- Utilize teletherapy techniques effectively when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in Alabama is required.
- Experience with pediatric populations and school-based practice preferred.
- Familiarity with CFY requirements and teletherapy service delivery.
