This opportunity is for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification, supporting K-12 students in the Washington, DC area. The position involves working onsite in up to two schools, primarily serving elementary and middle school students with speech and language needs. Caseloads are capped at 55 students, typically around 50, ensuring manageable and focused support. Part-time candidates are welcomed if they can commit to at least 20 hours per week.
Key Qualifications:
- Current VA licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required; Clinical Fellows (CF) will be considered with provided supervision
- Experience working with K-12 populations preferred but not mandatory
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to work onsite with no remote or hybrid options
Location:
- Onsite positions based in the Fairfax, VA and Washington, DC areas
- Assignments vary but will involve no more than two schools per SLP
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions addressing speech and language disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans and document student progress
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Manage caseload efficiently while maintaining high standards of care
