Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Fairfax, VA
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a K-12 school setting in Leesburg, VA. This contract position offers a school year (NSY) assignment working with students ages 5-22 who have varying levels of diagnosed Autism. The role requires on-site presence with a consistent schedule, providing critical speech and language services to support student communication and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to K-12 students with Autism.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers.
- Conduct assessments and progress monitoring.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in Virginia.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working with children and young adults diagnosed with Autism.
- Familiarity with K-12 educational settings.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Work Schedule and Location:
- Position located in Leesburg, VA.
- 30 hours per week.
- August start date.
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
- On-site position.
