Seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a dynamic educational setting located in Urbana, OH. This full-time contract position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact across two locations: the Yoder Learning Center in West Liberty and Triad. The role primarily supports students with autism, spanning kindergarten through high school, providing individualized speech and language therapy services within a collaborative school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to students with autism.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with school guidelines.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to foster students’ communication development.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure coordinated care.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders.
- Ability to manage a caseload independently across multiple school sites.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within the school community.
Schedule & Location:
- Full-time position, 7.5 hours per day.
- 3 days per week at Yoder Learning Center in West Liberty.
- 2 days per week at Triad.
- Typical start time: 7:30 AM (may vary slightly based on district scheduling).
- Onsite position to ensure direct student support.
