Key responsibilities include delivering comprehensive communication services, managing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and addressing service backlogs to ensure students receive the support they need. The caseloads range from approximately 40 students for K–8 settings to 64 students for high school, depending on assignment. Candidates must be prepared to work full days and may be assigned to one or two schools based on district needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid State Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure
- Experience working in school settings preferred, especially with PreK-12 age groups
- Ability to manage high caseloads and related documentation thoroughly
- Strong organizational skills to handle IEPs and service backlogs
- Bilingual skills are beneficial but not required
- Willingness to work on-site in the Lower Valley area south of I-10 or northeast of I-10
