Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Active Colorado SLP license with appropriate certification from the Colorado Department of Education (CDE)
- Proven experience working in school settings, or transferrable clinical pediatric experience
- Strong collaboration skills and an engaging, compassionate attitude toward students
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
What You'll Do:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload of students
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's goals
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and report on students’ achievements
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to a positive school community
- Follow best practices, ethical guidelines, and district protocols in delivering services
