Pediatric Speech Therapist in Escondido, CA
A K-12 school in Escondido, CA is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team for the current school year (CSY) under a contract agreement. This role focuses on delivering essential speech and language services to students within an educational setting.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school or healthcare environments
- Ability to provide teletherapy services when needed
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is an advantage
- Familiarity with regulations and best practices within schools
Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for K-12 students with speech and language challenges
- Implement therapy sessions in person or via teletherapy in compliance with educational and clinical standards
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school policies
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
