A school-based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) role is available in Brighton, CO, for a contract position running from August 10 to May 28. This full-time opportunity offers a caseload of 50-60 students, primarily working with pre-school and elementary-aged children. The role involves delivering speech therapy services designed to support the communication needs of students in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in pre-school and elementary school students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical evaluations and educational goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to tailor interventions and support student success.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and reports.
  • Participate in meetings related to student progress and intervention planning.
  • Provide counseling and education to families and staff regarding communication disorders.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) credential.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in schools and healthcare settings.
  • Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of school-based therapy regulations, procedures, and educational frameworks.
  • Ability to manage a caseload of 50-60 students effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.
