Travel Speech and Language Pathologist in Enfield, CT
A temporary opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide services in a pediatric school setting. This in-person position involves working with students in two schools, supporting their communication and speech development during the Extended School Year (ESY) program.
Position Details:
- Location: Enfield, CT (travel assignment)
- Duration: July 6 to July 30
- Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:15 AM to 1:45 PM
- Hours: Approximately 22 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy to school-aged children with diverse communication needs.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate therapy goals within the educational environment.
- Monitor student progress and document therapy outcomes in compliance with school policies.
- Participate in team meetings and provide recommendations for ongoing student support.
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings.
- Familiarity with ESY programs and related service delivery.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel.
- Willingness to work in person across two school locations.
