Travel School Speech Language Pathologist - Emporia, Kansas

Provide speech-language pathology services within a cooperative of schools located around Emporia, Kansas. This role offers the opportunity to support students across multiple districts within approximately an hour’s radius of Emporia, accommodating both full-time and part-time schedules with flexible hours. The position involves working onsite and traveling between schools to deliver targeted interventions to a caseload ranging from 10-12 students per day to about 50-55 students over the week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and implement individualized speech and language therapy for students
- Collaborate with educational teams, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school and state regulations
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs across multiple locations
- Participate in IEP development and review processes
Qualifications:
- Valid Kansas Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience in school-based speech therapy highly desirable
- Ability and willingness to travel daily within cooperative districts
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Location:
Positions are based primarily in Emporia, Kansas, with travel to any of the cooperative’s school districts including North Lyon County, South Lyon County, Chase County, Madison, Hamilton, and Morris County.
