Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech-language therapy and related services to K-12 students in a school setting.

Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, progress monitor, and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families.

Work across multiple school sites if needed.

Maintain required documentation and compliance with district/state guidelines.
Requirements / Qualifications:
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders from an accredited program.

Hold or be eligible for California SLP professional license (via Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology & Hearing Aid Dispensers Board).

Hold or be eligible for California Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (or able to obtain) for public school work.

Experience in school-based speech therapy preferred.

Strong communication, collaboration, and time-management skills.

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites as required.
State/School-Specific Requirements (California):

If working in public schools, you must hold either the Services Credential or a valid California professional license.

Out-of-state applicants must submit required documentation and transcript verification for the Services Credential via application form 41-4.

Background check and clearance per school district policy (live-scan).
