ProCare Therapy is excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Emeryville, California. This on-site position is ideal for an experienced clinician passionate about making a direct impact in the educational setting, supporting students’ communication development and academic success.
Position Overview:
As an SLP with ProCare Therapy, you will provide comprehensive speech and language services to K-12 students within a supportive school district environment. Your work will include conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapy designed to meet each student's unique needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students with diverse communication disorders

Administer formal and informal evaluations, analyze results, and write clear, detailed reports

Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including teachers, parents, counselors, and administrators to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Participate actively in IEP meetings, advocating for student needs and progress

Maintain detailed and timely documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal regulations

Utilize data-driven approaches to track student progress and adjust therapy strategies accordingly
Candidate Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution

Current, valid California SLP license required
-
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred

Minimum of two years experience in a school-based setting preferred
-
Strong clinical skills and familiarity with current speech-language therapy best practices

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Ability to work independently while being an active part of a collaborative team
