School Speech and Language Pathologist | Elmira, New York
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in the Western New York region, supporting PreK and Elementary students within school districts in Hornell and Bath, NY. This onsite role focuses on providing comprehensive speech and language services to a diverse caseload.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students identified with communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and screenings to monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with NY state education and health regulations
- Participate in professional development and team meetings to enhance service delivery
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Active New York State SLP License
- Certification in Teaching Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD)
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working with PreK and elementary school populations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively onsite within school settings
Location:
- Onsite work required in the Western New York region, specifically covering Hornell and Bath school districts
