About the Opportunity
A well-supported Early Childhood program in Elmhurst is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to step into a temporary role this spring. This is an excellent option for SLPs who love working with young learners and want a shorter assignment with a predictable schedule and a collaborative team.
You will work within one early childhood building, supporting a diverse set of students with speech and language needs, developmental delays, and Autism.
What You Will Do

Deliver high-quality speech and language intervention to preschool-aged students

Conduct evaluations as needed and participate in eligibility determinations

Write, review, and implement IEP goals using the Embrace system

Monitor and document student progress

Communicate consistently with instructional staff and families

Collaborate with early childhood educators and multidisciplinary team members
What You Bring

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Active Illinois SLP License + PEL

Experience with early childhood populations is a strong plus

Familiarity with Embrace or similar IEP software is helpful

Commitment to supporting young learners with a variety of developmental and communication needs
