SLP in Baltimore, MD
This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential therapy services within K-12 schools across multiple locations in Baltimore, MD. This leave contract position spans from mid-February or later start dates through June 12, 2026, offering a consistent 37.5-hour workweek. The role involves supporting students at various schools with tailored caseloads, addressing communication needs to enhance academic success and social interaction.
Locations and schedules include:
- Dayton Oaks Elementary: 5 days/week starting mid-February
- Ellicott Mills Middle School: 5 days/week starting April
- Thomas Viaduct Middle School (4 days/week) paired with Jeffers Hill Elementary School (1 day/week) starting April
- Laurel Woods Elementary School: 5 days/week starting April
- Burleigh Manor Middle School (2 days/week) paired with Hammond Middle School (3 days/week) starting May
Key qualifications and requirements:
- Active Maryland SLP licensure
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology
- Availability for in-person assignments (virtual candidates are not eligible)
- Commitment to the full contract duration
- Interest in potential continued employment opportunities based on performance
Primary responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation and compliance with state and district regulations
- Deliver services across various school settings as assigned
