What You Bring:
- Active North Carolina SLP License, with ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience delivering speech and language services within a school environment
- Competency in evaluating, diagnosing, and developing IEPs for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Strong written and verbal communication with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to maintain thorough, accurate documentation and comply with district and state guidelines
- Passion for making a difference in the educational journey of children
Your Role:
- Provide direct and consultative SLP services to a diverse caseload of students
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations; interpret results to shape collaborative IEPs and intervention plans
- Maintain consistent communication with teachers, families, and school staff to optimize services
- Monitor student progress and adapt therapeutic approaches as needed
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive, student-centered school culture
- Uphold professional, ethical, and legal standards of SLP practice
