Minnesota Schools SLP Teletherapy Cognitive-Communication Contractor
We are seeking a 1099 SLP to support students with cognitive-communication challenges due to TBI, ADHD, or executive function deficits. This remote role focuses on higher-level language skills, organization, memory, and functional communication. You’ll work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary school teams to support academic success.
Responsibilities:

Provide virtual therapy targeting cognitive-linguistic skills.

Collaborate with psychologists, OTs, and case managers on service delivery.

Develop IEP goals for memory, organization, reasoning, and problem-solving.

Support students with classroom strategies for executive function.

Conduct assessments and write detailed evaluation reports.

Educate families and staff about cognitive-communication needs.

Maintain compliance with state and federal documentation standards.

Participate in virtual IEP and evaluation meetings.

Monitor progress with qualitative and quantitative data.

Design therapy activities based on curriculum demands.

Address metacognitive skills and strategy use.

Support students post-concussion or post-injury.

Provide training to staff on supporting cognitive-communication skills.

Maintain HIPAA and FERPA compliance in all interactions.

Adjust therapy based on classroom and academic observations.

· Must have a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
· Contractors must provide your their own liability insurance
· Comfortable being an independent contractor (1099)
· Home computer with high internet speed
· Passed basic tech screening
Interview Process:
- 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
- 20-30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District
- Offer is typically within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview
