Speech and Language Pathologist in Davis, CA
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide services for a K-12 school setting in Davis, CA. This contract position is available immediately and extends through June 12th, 2026. The role supports speech and language programming within the schools, collaborating with educators and other specialists to meet student needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement speech and language therapy for students
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting services as needed for effective outcomes
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goals
- Participate in meetings such as IEPs to contribute expertise and update on student progress
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, including confidentiality standards
Qualifications:
- Active California Speech-Language Pathologist license or equivalent educator certification
- Experience working with school-aged children in a K-12 educational setting preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage caseload and maintain accurate records
