A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide exceptional care in a school setting located in Citrus Heights, CA. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive evaluation and therapy services to pediatric and school-aged students, promoting effective communication and improved speech and language skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct thorough assessments of students with speech and language disorders to identify needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique goals
- Deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques
- Monitor and document student progress accurately to inform ongoing treatment
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support
- Educate families on therapeutic strategies and involve them actively in the intervention process
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as required by the state board
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations highly valued
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Active licensure approved by the respective state’s Speech-Language Pathology board
- Ability to obtain or possess a Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
