Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Elk Grove, CA
Provide specialized speech-language pathology services within a K-12 school setting in Elk Grove, CA, supporting children with diverse speech and language needs during the upcoming school year (NSY). Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed evaluations assessing speech and language disorders
- Develop customized, goal-oriented treatment plans
- Implement therapy sessions designed to meet individualized student goals
- Monitor, document, and report progress meticulously
- Collaborate effectively with educators, therapists, and other professionals to ensure holistic care
- Engage families in the therapy process, providing education and support
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience with pediatric and school-aged populations is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Active state licensure as approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology
