A contract opportunity is available for three full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support students in Woodbridge, New Jersey, for the Fall 2026 semester. These roles begin in September and run for 12 weeks, with a commitment of 35+ hours per week. This onsite position focuses on providing critical speech and language therapy services within elementary schools serving diverse student populations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid New Jersey SLP License and New Jersey SLS Certification are required.
- Candidates with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) are preferred.
- Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcomed, provided they have outside supervision, as onsite supervision is not available.
- Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are not eligible for this role.
- Experience working with K-5 students, particularly with a high Autism and preschool population, is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students identified with communication disorders.
- Support students primarily in elementary school settings with emphasis on those within high Autism and preschool populations.
- Collaborate with educational teams to develop and implement effective therapy goals and strategies.
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and district guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and communicate regularly with staff and families to support student success.
Location:
- Two elementary school positions are located within Sewaren and Iselin, NJ, with one additional position to be determined within the district.
- Work is onsite to ensure direct interaction with students and staff.
