A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for a contract position in the Elgin, IL area, serving a school district specializing in pediatrics and educational settings. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in pediatric therapy, teletherapy, and school-based speech language pathology, including newly credentialed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates. The assignment runs from June 1 to June 29 and offers an itinerant schedule supporting multiple school locations in the district.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services tailored to pediatric students' individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Deliver therapy in various settings, including direct, indirect, and teletherapy formats.
  • Collaborate with educational staff to integrate therapy goals within the school environment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress tracking in alignment with district protocols.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to student success plans.
  • Support and comply with all district policies and procedural requirements.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid certification in speech-language pathology (SLP-CCC preferred).
  • Experience in school-based therapy and pediatric caseloads.
  • Familiarity with teletherapy delivery methods.
  • Ability to work independently within a caseload or workload model.
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Location: Elgin, Illinois (serving the surrounding district including Lake in the Hills)
