Providing speech-language pathology services within a K-12 public school setting, this role supports students primarily in an elementary school environment. The position covers a caseload focused on mild to moderate disabilities, with occasional students presenting more significant needs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering speech-language pathology evaluations and interventions for students across grade levels
  • Managing caseloads within one elementary school
  • Collaborating with educational staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Participating in team meetings and parent conferences as needed

Qualifications:

  • Holds a Professional Educator License (PEL) with an SLP Endorsement
  • Experience providing services to school-age children, particularly those with mild to moderate disabilities
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work onsite and follow school policies and procedures

Location:

  • Position based onsite in Arlington Heights, IL

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time or part-time position available
  • Approximately 30 hours per week, with potential for additional hours to catch up on service delivery
  • Contract duration from ASAP to the end of the school year (EOSY)
