Pediatric School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Elgin, Illinois

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide maternity leave coverage in a K-12 school setting located in Elgin, Illinois. This temporary contract role runs from February 2, 2025, through May 5, 2025, with a 37.5-hour workweek, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to students across grades K-12.
- Manage a diverse caseload effectively, addressing varied speech and language needs.
- Collaborate and communicate regularly with school staff, students, and families to support student progress.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and comply with school policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Hold a valid Illinois SLP-CCC license or Illinois SLP-CF license.
- Possession of an Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathologist (non-teaching) endorsement from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE).
- Preferred experience in a school-based setting.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
