Position Overview:

Employment Options:
1. Local Path (W-2 through Blazer Jobs):
- Full school-year assignment (August–May/June)
- Weekly pay: $45–$55/hour, based on experience and credentials
- Full benefits: medical, dental, vision

- Consistent district placement with support from Blazer Jobs' education team
- Flexible contract lengths (4–12 weeks or semester-based)
- Weekly pay: $55–$65+/hour, depending on travel status and experience
- Weekly gross: $1,900–$2,100, including tax-free stipends if eligible
- Housing assistance, per diem, and travel reimbursements available
- Multistate licensure and credentialing support provided
- Ideal for SLPs seeking short-term flexibility with high compensation
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to K–12 students
- Complete evaluations, interpret results, and participate in eligibility determinations
- Write and implement IEPs in accordance with Illinois guidelines
- Collaborate with school staff, special educators, and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and service records for compliance
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Illinois SLP License (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) will be considered
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience is highly preferred
- Must pass fingerprint and background checks
