Caseload: Transitional Kindergarten through 8th Grade

About the Role
ProCare Therapy is currently hiring a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to join a dedicated team serving students from TK through 8th grade in El Monte, CA. This position requires delivering onsite therapy services across several schools within the district, providing a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student communication and academic success.
Ideal candidates are collaborative, organized, and passionate about working in a school-based environment to support diverse learners.
Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations and screenings

Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)

Deliver direct therapy to students individually and in small groups

Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student goals

Document student progress and maintain compliance with district and state standards

Attend IEP meetings and actively contribute to multidisciplinary teams

Manage caseload across multiple school sites within the district (travel required with mileage reimbursement)
Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field

Active California SLP license (required)

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, Clinical Fellows welcome

Experience in school-based settings preferred but not required

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Ability to manage multiple school sites efficiently and professionally
