Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – High School Caseload – El Monte, CA
Position Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
School Year: 2025–2026
Location: El Monte, California
Pay Rate: $50/hour
Caseload: Approximately 90–100 students, grades 9–12, across two campuses
Position Summary:
A school district in El Monte, CA is looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist to join their team for the upcoming school year. This role focuses on case management, assessments, and IEP coordination for a high school caseload. The SLP will oversee two campuses and collaborate closely with two experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) who handle direct service delivery.
Primary Duties:

Manage and monitor speech and language caseload for high school students

Conduct assessments and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)

Provide guidance and supervision to assigned SLPAs

Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents

Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal documentation requirements
Required Qualifications:

Current California Speech-Language Pathologist license
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Previous school-based experience preferred, high school setting a plus

Strong organizational and communication skills
