School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Llano, California

Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid SLP licensure for California
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Prior experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable
- Demonstrated skill in assessment, intervention, and documentation for school-aged children
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with teachers, parents, and administrators
- Capacity to effectively manage and prioritize a caseload of up to 55 students
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform speech and language assessments and interpret evaluation results for students
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Provide direct therapy services to students, using evidence-based approaches
- Consult with classroom teachers and parents to support student progress in general education settings
- Document progress, attendance, and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions to support student growth
- Adapt and adjust therapy techniques to meet the developmental and academic needs of your diverse caseload
