Remote Bilingual SLP Oklahoma School-Based Services
We are seeking a Remote Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist to support Oklahoma students in dual-language environments. This is a 1099 contractor role, ideal for SLPs fluent in Spanish and English, with school-based experience. The role involves evaluating and treating bilingual students while ensuring cultural and linguistic sensitivity. You will work remotely with district staff, ensuring compliance with IDEA and OSDE regulations. This opportunity allows you to support equitable access to communication for linguistically diverse students from the comfort of your home.
Duties:

Provide virtual therapy to bilingual students, primarily Spanish-speaking

Conduct bilingual assessments using appropriate tools

Differentiate between language disorders and differences

Collaborate with ESL and bilingual education staff

Participate in IEP meetings to share culturally informed recommendations

Translate key communication materials as needed

Document progress in both English and Spanish (as required)

Provide consultation to parents on supporting bilingual development

Maintain accurate service logs and progress notes

Engage in professional development related to bilingual therapy

Align services with OSDE guidelines for dual-language learners

Address code-switching and language mixing in therapy

Offer interpretation support during evaluations (if qualified)

Customize activities to reflect student culture and language

Uphold FERPA and HIPAA privacy across all platforms

· Must have a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
· Contractors must provide your their own liability insurance
· Comfortable being an independent contractor (1099)
· Home computer with high internet speed
· Passed basic tech screening
Interview Process:
- 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
- 20-30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District
- Offer is typically within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview
