Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current and active state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Experience within a school setting preferred, but not required
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
- Knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and progress monitoring
- Comfortable adapting to a variety of service delivery models (remote, hybrid, in-person)
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively and maintain thorough documentation
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, communication, or swallowing disorders
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to support student success
- Maintain detailed records, progress notes, and required reports in compliance with school policies and best practices
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations
- Engage in ongoing professional development and remain current with best practices in the field
