School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Saint Paul, Minnesota
A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Saint Paul, MN. This role requires a licensed SLP to deliver comprehensive speech and language services within a diverse urban school district. The assignment is scheduled to begin as soon as possible and will continue through the end of the school year (EOY).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations, individualized treatment plans, and therapy sessions tailored to students' unique needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to facilitate effective communication goals across academic and social settings.
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and comply with district and state guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.
- Engage with supervised support personnel if available (e.g., paraeducators or related service aides).
Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Experience working with school-aged children, ideally within a K-12 environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and meet established deadlines.
- Familiarity with current best practices in speech-language pathology and educational compliance standards.
Hours and Location:
- Full-time, approximately 37.5 hours per week, schedule typically from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
- Based at a school facility in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
