Pediatric School-Based SLP | Lakeville, Minnesota
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to work within an elementary school setting in Lakeville, MN. This role supports students in a school environment, providing specialized speech and language services over the course of the current school year.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Licensed or certified as an SLP or SLPA, with credentials appropriate for school settings
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in elementary education
- Familiarity with educational speech therapy practices and individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Ability to deliver services effectively as a Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) provider or as a fully licensed clinician
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers

Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and screenings for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Monitor and document student progress regularly
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to support student learning
- Provide direct therapy services in accordance with school and state policies
- Participate in meetings related to student interventions and support plans
