This full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Minneapolis, MN, serving K-8 students in a K-12 educational setting. The role offers a contract position with 30.5 hours per week, providing specialized speech and language therapy services to support student communication development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized speech and language therapy to students in grades K-8.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal setting.
Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota Department of Education SLP License required.
- Credentials including Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
- Experience or readiness to work within K-12 schools and familiarity with school-based SLP practices.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and school staff.
