A leave contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support elementary students in grades K-5. This position is located in Chaska, MN, within an elementary school setting, and will run from January 5th through June 5th. The role requires full-time commitment, with a weekly workload of 40 hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM daily.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group speech and language therapy services to a caseload of 40-45 elementary students.
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for diverse speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) development.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid state licensure or certification for SLP practice in Minnesota.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children (K-5) in school settings.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage students, families, and staff.
- Ability to manage a caseload of 40-45 students while maintaining accurate documentation.
