Position Overview:
*New grads welcome!
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow ready to start in August! (SLP CF). Under the supervision of an experienced SLP, you will provide speech and language services to students with communication disorders while completing your Clinical Fellowship year. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a school setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group speech therapy to students with communication disorders.
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans based on student needs.
- Assist in creating and implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Plans).
- Document therapy progress and attend IEP meetings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students’ communication goals.
- Receive supervision and feedback from a licensed SLP to fulfill CF requirements.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CF) status in your state.
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and families.
- Prior experience with children or in a school setting is a plus.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of IEPs and special education processes.
- Bilingual skills (preferred, not required).
